Review a student's history and coverage
A student's record brings together their summary, memorization coverage or subject averages, lesson or assessment history and attendance.
On this page
Open a student from Students, from Progress (View progress) or from a program's details. Back to students returns to the directory. The record follows the program type: a Quran program shows memorization, a graded program shows scores.
Student summary
The card shows the student's name, program and guardian, with chips such as Latest: Al-Baqarah · Ayahs 1-5 and 2 lessons to revise. The four figures beneath are Completed surahs, Ayahs memorized, Lessons recorded and Attendance.
In a graded program the figures are Average score across every assessment, Subjects assessed out of the program's subjects, Assessments and Attendance, and the chip reads Latest: Mathematics · Chapter 3 quiz.
Record progress (or Record assessment in a graded program) opens the progress dialog for this student. Student actions offers Attendance, which opens today's register for their program, and for administrators Edit student, Invite parent and Delete student.
Memorization coverage
Counts distinct ayahs from lessons recorded as Memorization with the result Completed. Overlapping passages count once and revision lessons are excluded, so the number is what the student has actually memorized. A surah with every ayah covered reads Complete.
Marked for revision
Lessons with the result Needs revision. Choose Review beside one to open it and change the result once the student has reviewed the passage.
Lesson history
Every lesson newest first, filtered by All lessons, Memorization or Revision. Lessons recorded on the same day keep the order you recorded them. Each entry's menu offers Edit entry and Delete entry.
Graded programs: subject averages and latest by subject
Subject averages shows one row per subject with the average percent of its assessments and how many there are; each assessment counts once whatever it was out of. A subject removed from the program keeps its row, marked No longer listed, while assessments remain. Latest by subject shows the most recent assessment in each subject with Edit beside it. Assessment history lists every assessment newest first as date · score / maximum · percent, filtered by subject.
Attendance history
Each marked day with its status. View register opens Attendance for the student's program on that date.
Report cards
Between the summary and the history, Report cards lists the school's terms with each card's state: Not started, Draft or Published. Open shows the term's card. See Term report cards.
